Judi Stess

I grew up in the Bay Area and began painting in 1970.  Oils were my first medium of choice and I still prefer them although I have tried Acrylics, Papermaking and Pastels.  My paintings are representational and inspired by the things I see in my life.  I paint from photographs I have taken or from real life.  My passion is color and shadow.

Art is a continuing journey with much to explore.  I hope to try many more mediums and broaden my knowledge for years to come.

I was an original member of Indian Valley Artists now known as the Art League of Northern California.
